KUCHING, June 13: A new initiative aimed at aiding local residents in obtaining their motorcycle licences (B2) has been launched in the N76 Marudi state constituency.
According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) news report, the ‘MyLesen B2’ programme is open to Malaysian citizens residing in the N76 Marudi state constituency, offering the opportunity to obtain a driving licence for a fee of RM250.
To be eligible, participants must be at least 16-years-old, physically and mentally fit, and must not possess any existing driving licences.
Additionally, applicants should have no records of being blacklisted or fined by the courts, JPJ, or PDRM.
The application process requires the submission of a filled-out application form, one photocopy of their IC, and two photocopies of passport-sized photos with a white background.
The deadline for submitting applications is June 22, 2024 (Saturday).
Applications can be obtained and submitted at the Pusat Khidmat N76 Marudi in Beluru. The driving course, training, and tests will be conducted at the Dewan Masyarakat Beluru.
