KUCHING, Dec 17: Sarawak recorded only 24 new Covid-19 cases today, forcing the cumulative number up to 251,926.
While Kuching continues to take the lead with nine cases, Sibu and Miri accounted for eight and three cases, respectively.
According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), only four other districts in Sarawak had new infections today.
Bintulu, Serian, Beluru, and Betong each registered one case.
In terms of clinical category, 11 were in Category 1 with no symptoms, another 12 were in Category 2 with mild symptoms, and one was in Category 5 needing ventilators.
Meanwhile, the State continues to report zero new clusters or new deaths. — DayakDaily
