KUCHING, Oct 26: Fully vaccinated patients from outside Malaysia entering Sarawak for medical tourism purposes are required to undergo a seven-day quarantine in hospitals.

In the latest standard operating procedures (SOP) to enter Sarawak released by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) updated on Oct 20, partially vaccinated patients will need to undergo a quarantine period of 10-days in hospitals.

The patients need to have a negative Covid-19 reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rt-PCR) swab test three days prior to entering Malaysia, as well as apply for entry through the EnterSarawak app and complete and submit the electronic health declaration form (e-HDF).
