KUCHING, Aug 11: A four-month temporary road diversion along Jalan Lapangan Terbang here will take effect from Aug 13 until Dec 31, 2025, to facilitate construction works.
According to Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), the diversion will be in place 24 hours daily throughout the period.
Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the affected area and to adhere to all traffic management control measures, road warning signs and speed limits to ensure the safety of both road users and construction workers.
“Sarawak Metro will duly notify the public if there are any changes to this notification. Road users are advised to plan their journey accordingly,” the company stated.
