KUCHING, July 28: The four-lane dual carriageways of the Pan Borneo Highway Sibu Section, from Pasai Siong Kanan Bridge to Pasai Siong Kiri Bridge, and also from JPJ Stapang KM48 to Sungai Kua, Selangau along Jalan Sibu-Bintulu, has officially opened to the public today.
In an advisory notice, the Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak advised motorists to exercise extra caution when approaching and driving along the area and comply with all traffic management instructions in place.
As construction works are ongoing in the final stage, road users are urged to cooperate fully to ensure their safety.
Considering the new road layout, road users are also encouraged to plan their journey towards their destinations.
If any changes to the date, time, or affected areas occur, the contractor will provide updates to the public.
