According to Kuching District Police Chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, a team from the Commercial Crime Investigation Department raided a house at Lorong Bukit Bayor, Tabuan Jaya, at around 4.30pm yesterday (Jan 26).
“The police successfully arrested four individuals, comprising two local men and two foreign nationals, aged between 20 and 24. Computers, mobile phones, SIM cards and other related equipment believed to have been used in the scam were also seized,” he said in a statement.
