MIRI, Sept 16: A total of six new signs have been erected at road junctions in the Long Lama area within the Telang Usan constituency recently.
The project is an initiative by the Forest Department Sarawak, Miri Region, aimed at improving access around the area from the main road junction.
Today (Saturday), all six signs were officially launched by Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau.
These signs have been erected at Simpang Masjid, Simpang Temala, Simpang Kejin, Jalan Interhill, Jalan Samling, and Simpang Shortcut.
Dennis, in his opening speech, commended the Sarawak Forest Department Miri Region for their initiative.
“I was made to understand that this project is one of the projects proposed by Miri Forest Officer Asan Odau. This project is one of the community projects undertaken by the Miri Forest Department Social and Recreational Club (Foressa),” he said.
