LAWAS, Nov 1: The Lawas STOLport will be closed temporarily for three days due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall since last night.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak director Datu Khirudin Drahman in a statement said this comes after non-stop rain throughout the night until this morning.
“The Batang Lawas broke its banks and inundated the airport airstrip and its interior complex.
“The airport had to be closed temporarily for cleanup and debris clearing operations,” he said. — DayakDaily
