KUCHING, April 24: Jalan Mendu is reportedly submerged in water after heavy rainfall pounded Kuching city at noon today.
Numerous videos circulating on social media and chat groups show torrents of water flowing along Jalan Mendu, though vehicles can still navigate through, albeit with significant congestion.
In a clip shared on the Sarawak Edition Facebook page, a delivery rider was seen standing on the road, directing vehicles away from certain sections of the road affected by flash flooding.
Meanwhile, videos have surfaced depicting chaotic traffic at the traffic light intersection in front of CityOne Megamall, which is presently non-operational. — DayakDaily
