Five Pakan longhouses among 22 localities placed under EMCO in Sarawak

KUCHING, Sept 26: Five longhouses in Pakan were among 22 localities in Betong, Limbang, Sri Aman, Sebauh, Tatau and Bintulu placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).

According to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in its daily Covid-19 update today, the EMCO for Rh Rachak in Nyalak Ladong, Rh Bujang in Tebak Ulu Wak, Rh Banyan in Lepong Bangkit, Rh Asun in Wong Kelampu and Rh Panting in Sg Poh is in effect from today until Oct 5.

Four localities in Betong will be under lockdown from tomorrow (Sept 27) until Oct 7, comprising Rh Bulie in Lidong Pandak, Rh Kam in Belik Kelili Debak, Rh Kelimbang in Penyulok, and Rh Steward in Selangking.

In Sri Aman, Rh Chalie in Pruan, Rh Mancha in Tawang, Rh Rebi in Stumbin, Rh Agong in Sebu Tengah Tanjung Bijat, and Rh Unggie Klauh Hulu will be under lockdown from Sept 25 until Oct 4.

Similarly, Rh Raymond Anak Plen@Phen in Sg Gelam along the Ulu Sebauh road, Rh Amit Anak Usee in Sebungan road, and Rh Bare Anak Langie in Sg Nanka along the Sebauh-Bintulu road will be under EMCO for the same period, as will Rh Eloh Anak Jugah in Sg Segan and Rh Emi Anak Mesa in Sg Seterus along the Kuala Tatau coastal road, both in Bintulu, and Rh Reba Anak Kok in KM5 along the Tatau-Sibu road.

SDMC also announced the extension of EMCO for Rh Juan in Perit Beruan Tanjung Bijat of Sri Aman (Sept 26 until 28), and Rh Tugang in Kampung Ulu Lubai of Limbang (Sept 29 until Oct 5).

Meanwhile, SDMC also ended the EMCO for localities in Beluru, Sarikei, Julau, Subis, Limbang, Sri Aman, Meradong today (Sept 26).

The affected localities are Rh Anthony Anak Lidi in Sg Liam Bakong of Beluru; Rh Musit in Sg Kesuli in Bukit Sebangkoi and Rh Anggey in Sg Kerubong in Selalang, both of Sarikei; Rh Geramong in Pasir Putih Ayam Tiga Nanga Ayam and Rh James in Ulu Lassi, both of Julau; Rh Thaddeus in Pulau Brunei of Limbang; Rh James in Paku Ulu of Sri Aman; as well as Rh Untin in Sg Mador Bintagor and Rh Bala in Ulu Binatang Bintangor, both of Meradong. ā€“ DayakDaily.
