SIBU, April 5: Parents and guardians here may now bring children aged 5 to 11-years-old to receive their first Covid-19 vaccination dose via walk-in.
Sibu Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force in a statement today said walk-ins are allowed at the vaccination centre at the Civic Centre
from April 4 to 10 and April 22 to May 8, from 8am to 4pm daily.
“Parents and guardians are advised to take this opportunity to vaccinate their children,” it added.
It said since the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) started on February 7, a total of 28,385 (86.54 per cent) children have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in Sibu Division. — DayakDaily
