Firemen help catch cobra inside an office in Miri

Firefighters managed to catch the cobra in less than 20 minutes.

MIRI, Jan 10: Workers of an offshore office in Krokop called up the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) at 1.57pm today to catch a cobra.

The metre-long snake was spotted curled up on the staircase as workers returned from their lunch break.

Seven firefighters from Miri fire station, led by Abang Muhd Fhazil, managed to handle the situation in less than 20 minutes upon reaching the office.

No one was hurt in the incident, and the firefighters later released the slithery reptile into a nearby bush. — DayakDaily
