BINTULU, Feb 1: An automotive workshop at 9th Mile, Jalan Bintulu-Miri was razed by fire today.

Bintulu Fire and Rescue rushed a team of firefighters to the scene located some 20km from the fire station upon receiving a distress call at 2.11pm

“Firefighters arriving at the scene found that the premise, which is an automotive workshop used to repair heavy-vehicle was engulfed in flame. About 80 per cent of the workshop is damaged,” the department said in a statement.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Total loss and cause of fire are still under investigation. — DayakDaily
