MIRI, May 28: A fire completely destroyed a house in Kampung Haji Wahed, Pujut Padang Kerbau 5 early this morning.
Firefighters from the Lopeng Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), assisted by personnel from the Miri Central Station, responded to the emergency at 5.15am.

Upon arrival, they found the non-permanent structure fully engulfed in flames. The fire was successfully extinguished using water from the fire truck.
Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.
The operation concluded after thorough overhauling was carried out to eliminate any remaining sources of ignition and ensure the site’s safety. — DayakDaily
