KUCHING, Aug 17: Four blocks of a workers’ quarters located at Taman Berlian, Kota Samarahan were damaged in a fire this afternoon.
According to a statement from the state Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, three blocks were completely razed while seven units in the fourth block were damaged.
Bomba received the alert at 4.22pm and rushed a team to the scene.
As of press time, the operation to put out the fire is still ongoing. — DayakDaily
