KUCHING, Dec 7: As Christmas approaches, the festive spirit is in full swing, with shops in the city offering a diverse range of Christmas trees and decorations.

With a plethora of options available, customers are faced with choices ranging from tree sizes to ornaments to adorn them.

The Green Gallery, a specialist in festive decorations, has been selling Christmas items for over a month, catering to the varied preferences of customers.

Vernon Chai, a spokesperson for the shop, revealed that customers often select Christmas trees and decorations based on their budget.

“I suppose those who come and buy Christmas trees and decorations rely on their budget. Some would not spend more as long as they get what they want as a symbol to celebrate the occasion, while others might spend extravagantly.

“For us, like many festive occasions, we serve and sell what people want so that they are happy with what they need. It’s Christmas, a time of joy for family and loved ones,” Chai stated in an interview with DayakDaily.

Chai emphasised the significance of family and togetherness in decorating Christmas trees and mentioned that for those who lack the time or expertise, the shop provides a hassle-free service.

Customers can purchase the tree and decorations, and the shop will handle the decoration process.

The shop showcased a ten-foot Christmas tree, meticulously decorated with elegant ornaments, serving as a sample of the complete decorated trees available for purchase.

The wide array of Christmas decorations includes toy Santas, toy soldiers, bells, leaves, euphorbia, bubbles, candy sticks, Christmas signs, lights, gingerbreads, gifts, and more.

Chai encouraged those celebrating Christmas to make their choices of trees and decorations to embrace the festive spirit.
