KUCHING, Mar 29: An accident at Jalan Datu Michael Ben in Serian today has claimed the life of a 31-year-old man.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 8.35am, and firefighters from the Serian station were deployed.

It was noted that the accident involved a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle, where the victim, Jonathan Chin Ching Ming, was found trapped in the driver’s seat.
The rescue team used special equipment to extricate the victim, who was later confirmed to be dead.
The victim’s body was subsequently handed over to the police for further action, while cleanup works of the accident debris were carried out. — DayakDaily
