KUCHING, April 27: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot after his vehicle collided with a four-wheel-drive truck that had hit a road divider earlier at KM14 of the Serian-Kuching Road last night.
The collision took place around 6.45pm as the deceased and his pillion rider were heading towards Kuching from Serian.
According to the police report, the deceased together and his pillion rider collided with the truck which had flipped on its roof in the middle of the road after hitting the road divider earlier in the evening.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The pillion rider suffered minor injuries and was rushed to Sarawak General Hospital for immediate treatment.
Police are investigating the case. — DayakDaily
