SIBU, Sept 10: A family of four adults has been displaced after a fire broke out at their home last night.
During the 10.08pm incident, 13 firefighters from Sungai Merah and Sibu stations responded to the emergency call at Lorong Ulu Sungai Merah 31.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in a statement said that upon arrival at scene, they found a double-storey terrace house on fire.
“The living room and car porch were badly damaged by the fire.
“All four occupants living in the house were able to make it out safely and no one was injured,” operations commander Suna Kaha reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.—DayakDaily
