KUCHING, April 30: Everrise outlet at BDC here is closed for one day today for deep cleaning and sanitising after a sales assistant tested positive for Covid-19.
The Everrise BDC outlet will resume for business tomorrow (May 1).
In a notice issued, Everrise informed that one of its sales assistants from its BDC outlet tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday (April 29).
As the employee last reported for work on April 28, Everrise said that other staff who have been identified as close contact to the case had undergone swab tests and are now under self-quarantine at home.
As a precautionary measure, Everrise added that the BDC outlet is closed today for deep cleaning and thorough sanitising.
Everrise emphasised that health and safety of its customers and staff remained its priority.
The management also urged the public to take all necessary precautionary measures to protect themselves against Covid-19. — DayakDaily
