KUCHING, Feb 9: Sarawak Plaza roared with engines and buzzed with excitement as Fast Culture Kuching 2026 drew an estimated 10,000 visitors on Sunday (Feb 8), turning the heart of the city into a playground for car enthusiasts, creatives, and families alike.
According to Sarawak Motorsports Association (SMA) president Senator Dato Ahmad Ibrahim, what started as a simple car showcase has grown into a full-day celebration of automotive culture, youth creativity, and community spirit.

“Fast Culture has evolved beyond a conventional car showcase. It has become a platform that brings together the automotive community, young creatives, supporting industries, content creators, and tourism stakeholders,” he told DayakDaily today.
From tastefully modified street builds to performance-oriented machines, the event offered a diverse lineup of vehicles that drew admiration from both seasoned car enthusiasts and curious first-time visitors.

“The variety and quality of cars on display show not just passion, but also a growing focus on safety, craftsmanship, and responsible enthusiasm in Sarawak’s automotive scene,” Ahmad said.

Media representatives and content creators from outside the State were spotted documenting the action, signalling Fast Culture’s potential as a hub for motorsports and automotive tourism.
“Events like this provide a positive and structured way for youth engagement and industry networking through a shared universal language of automotive culture,” he added. — DayakDaily
