“In total, each eligible recipient will receive RM1,000 to ease their financial burden due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This initiative will involve existing recipients of GKP 1.0, GKP 2.0, GKP 3.0 and new recipients of GKP 4.0 with a financial implication of RM500 million.

“The government remains committed to assist our SMEs. With this continuation of cash assistance, we hope it will help eligible micro-SME with their cash flow, mobilise and revive their businesses which were badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic,” Ismail said.

Payment will be credited directly to SME’s respective bank account registered in the GKP system.

Those who wish to check their status can do so from November 22 onwards through https://gkp.hasil.gov.my.

Meanwhile, Ismail disclosed that a total of RM6.08 billion has been allocated and channeled to more than 1 million micro SMEs under GKP since the pandemic. — DayakDaily
