SIBU, Oct 5: An elderly motorcyclist died after he was run over by three cars at Jalan Salim last night.
Sibu District Police Chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the victim, 67, was riding a motorcycle when the accident happened at about 7.15pm.
“The accident occurred when he turned from right to the left of the road. He fell off the machine after colliding with a car,” he said.
Three cars which came from behind however were unable to stop in time and ran over the victim.
“Paramedics from the hospital pronounced him dead on the spot,” said Stanley. — DayakDaily
