Only voters who have tested negative for Covid-19 and have obtained permission from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) are allowed to go out to cast their vote.

Voters also must submit relevant documents such as voter information from the MySPR Semak application or review from the EC portal to PDRM in order to obtain permission to go out to cast their vote.

Meanwhile, the EC said it will designate a place for press conferences or interview sessions at the polling station, to ensure physical distancing compliance.

Apart from that, any form of spontaneous interviews outside the set time is prohibited, and only media personnel who have completed their vaccination are allowed to attend press conference or interview sessions.
