KUCHING, April 20: A weak earthquake in the sea with magnitude 3.4 struck Beluran, Sabah at 9.07am today.
According to Malaysian Meteorological Department, the epicentre was located 37km southeast of Pitas, Sabah and 365km north of Tarakan, Indonesia.
The department said the 10km-deep quake did not pose a tsunami threat to Malaysia. — DayakDaily
