Early voting process for GE15 underway in Miri, Sibuti

MIRI, Nov 15: Soldiers, policemen and their spouses began casting their ballots as part of the early voting process for the P219 Miri and P218 Sibuti seats in the 15th General Election (GE15) this morning.

A total of 637 policemen and their spouses cast their votes today at Miri Police Headquarters (IPD Miri-461 voters) and at 12th Batalion General Operation Force (GOF-176 voters) as the early voting kicked off today, nationwide, while the remaining 406 consist of postal votes.

A total seven polling channels are open today in: three at IPD Miri and two each at GOF and Army camp Sri Miri.

Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu was among those early voters here this morning at IPD Miri.
