KUCHING, Nov 1: A man was killed in an accident that occurred at Jalan Singai Musi-Bau this morning.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 7.40am, and firefighters from the Bau station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that a Proton Wira had skidded and overturned into a roadside drain.
The victim, who was trapped in the vehicle, was extricated by firefighters using a stretcher and was pronounced dead by health ministry officials who were at the scene.
No details on the victim were given at the time of the report.
