MIRI, Aug 20: Chamber of Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneurs (DUBS) expressed that it is about time for Malaysia to have deputy prime minister from Sarawak or Sabah.

In a statement today (Aug 20), DUBS information chief Mohammad Hafidz Rohani said this was due to Sarawak and Sabah having been very supportive of the government and have contributed a lot in terms of resources.

He added that it was also timely for all elected Member of Parliament (MPs)to put aside any political motives and ambitions to be at the top or elected to post either on the cabinet or any Government-Link Companies (GLC) positions.

“However, we leave it to the wisdom of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatduddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to decide what is best for the country,” he said. — DayakDaily
