KUCHING, July 9: A 33-year-old four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle driver suffered hand and back injuries after losing control of his vehicle along Jalan Bakul in Limbang yesterday (July 8).
According to a report from Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak operation centre today, they received the call regarding the incident at 11.11pm and deployed a team from Bomba Limbang to the location.
Based on the report, the driver lost control of his vehicle and hit a water pipe on the road side.
“Another victim, the front passenger, was brought to Limbang Hospital via Ministry of Health (MOH) earlier before the arrival of firefighters.
“Following that, firefighters then proceed remove the driver from the vehicle and initial medical treatment was done by the Emergency Medical Response Services (EMRS),” it said.
It added that the victim was later brought to Limbang Hospital using an EMRS ambulance. — DayakDaily
