KUCHING, June 8: A 28-year-old motorist was killed in an apparent self-accident near along Jalan Gaya in Lawas.
According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center today, they received a call regarding the incident at 3.20am and deployed Bomba Lawas personnel to the location.

The operation commander at the location confirmed the incident involved a four-wheel drive vehicle driven by the victim, Ezra Labo David, had crashed into a tree.
Firefighters then proceed to extract the victim who was still inside the vehicle using rescue tools.
The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health (MOH). — DayakDaily
