Driver injures shoulder after vehicle turns turtle along Tulai Road

KUCHING, Dec 14: A man suffered shoulder injuries after his four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle overturned in a single vehicle accident along Tulai Road in Sibu, yesterday.

According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre in a statement today, a team of eight firefighters from the Bintangor fire station led by PBK II Ahmad Salim Mokhtar were deployed to the location in response to an alert on the situation at 9.10pm

ā€œFirefighters upon arriving at the location found that the incident only involved a single vehicle, where it had overturned. Firefighters immediately carried out an operation to remove the injured victim, who are still inside the vehicle, and he was handed over to the ambulance unit on standby at the location,ā€ it added.


Firefighters then conducted a flushing operation to clean up debris from the accident on the road to ensure the road was safe for other road users, before ending the operation. ā€” DayakDaily
