KUCHING, Nov 3: Two men were killed while a woman was injured following a three-vehicle accident that occurred at Jalan Sare, Sarikei, today.
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 9.35am, and firefighters from the Sarikei station were deployed.
Upon arrival, it was found that the accident involved two motorcycles and a car, with all three victims believed to be motorcycle riders.
The two men—identified as 43-year-old Nyaring Achang and 58-year-old Louis Asey—were pronounced dead by health ministry officials at the scene, while the woman sustained severe injuries and was sent to Sarikei Hospital.
The driver of the car that was involved in the accident had fled the scene, and the case is currently under police investigation. — DayakDaily
