Driver escapes fiery MPV blaze along Jalan Tabuan in Kuching

KUCHING, Dec 14: The driver of a Perodua Alza managed to escape unscathed after his vehicle caught fire along Jalan Tabuan.

According to a report from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, they received a call regarding the incident at 1.57am and dispatched Bomba Padungan to the location.

Based on the report, the multi-purpose vehicle’s (MPV) engine bay was destroyed by the fire, which also spread to another vehicle parked nearby.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire and gain control of the situation within 20 minutes. — DayakDaily
