KUCHING, April 19: Six individuals including three Indonesians were arrested for violating the movement control order (MCO) at a rented house at Jalan Emas Jambusan, Bau, yesterday.
The suspects were arrested at 5.15pm during a police MCO “snap check” operation when patrolling the area.
According to a police report, it was said that the three local men and the three female Indonesians were sitting together consuming alcohol and have failed to provide reasons for their gathering.
None of the six suspects have criminal records and the case is being investigated under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures Within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020. — DayakDaily
