KUCHING, Sept 15: Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian is encouraging more professional opinions and input on the Health White Paper to be sent to his official email address.

He said those who did not have the chance to voice out their concerns or opinions during the townhall session with Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin could send emails to either kertasputih@moh.gov.my or sim.kui.hian@sarawak.gov.my.

“If you missed out your contribution on Sept 5, please send (your input) to the email addresses above, either to MOH or myself.

“(This is) so that we can compile more opinions and inputs to be tabled by YB KJ in Parliament,” said Dr Sim in a recorded video on social media today.

The Health White Paper first came into the spotlight when Khairy in his 2022 New Year message in Putrajaya informed that he had proposed a white paper on reformation of the country’s health system to the ministry’s Planning Division for it to be tabled in the upcoming Parliament session.

Later on Sept 6, Khairy after visiting several health facilities in Sarawak, attended a townhall session at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) auditorium to gather opinions on the white paper from the ground.
