KUCHING, Aug 26: Sarawak will form three technical working committees on finance, scope and manpower to expedite the establishment of the Sarawak Cancer Centre.
Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian in his Facebook post yesterday (Aug 25), said the matter was discussed during his courtesy visit to Ministry of Health (MOH) Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa at MOH headquarters in Putrajaya.
“I hope that the matter can be quickly concluded so that we can get Sarawak Cancer Centre going soonest for the people of Sarawak,” he said.
Dr Sim, who is also Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government, added that among other matters discussed in the meeting were health services for Sarawak and Sabah, including Sarawak Health Autonomy under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63). — DayakDaily
