KUCHING, Oct 26: Aspiring PSB candidate for Betong Dr Saudi Narani has dissociated himself from the party with immediate effect.

“I have just submitted my letter of disassociation to PSB (Parti Sarawak Bersatu) party headquarters moments ago (Oct 26). I know very well that PSB will deny my membership for reasons known to themselves, but that is not important to me.

“What is important is that I do not want to be associated with PSB anymore. I have had enough and now I want to be of my own — a free man.

“Without fear of favour, I must say that I have lost confidence in PSB and I cannot trust PSB to bring development and changes for the people of Sarawak,” Saudi told DayakDaily here today.

He asserted that he decided to leave PSB on his own accord and that he put his trust in Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg to bring more development to Sarawak.

“Without pressure from anyone, I fully trust the current GPS government under the leadership of our respected Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg. Being a transformation (sic) leader, he delivers and walks the talk.

“Honestly, I believe that GPS is most relevant in bringing full development to Sarawak for now and years to come,” added Saudi.

Saudi’s letter was addressed to PSB president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh.

Saudi has a colourful academic and administrative background, rising from the rank and file in the civil service. While working, he furthered his studies and earned his Doctorate in Business Administration from Asia e University (AEU), Kuala Lumpur. — DayakDaily
