KUCHING, Apr 30: An unoccupied double storey house behind Chung Hua No.4 at Jalan Pisang was completely destroyed by fire this morning. .
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in a statement said they received the call at 10.48 am.
The caller informed of a fire, believed to have started at the first floor.
Firefighters from Batu Lintang who responded to an earlier rubbish fire at Jalan Stephen Yong were dispatched to the scene.
Another team from Padungan station, their EMRS personnel and a water tanker from Tabuan Jaya station were alsk dispatched to the scene.
The fire was under control at 11.02 am.
Bomba also said no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation. —DayakDaily
