Doris Brodie is PRS Simanggang branch chairwoman

KUCHING, March 18: Dato Sri Doris Brodie has been unanimously voted as Party Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Simanggang branch chairwoman.

According to a statement from PRS Simanggang branch information officer Surai Abel today, the decision was made during the branch’s annual general meeting (AGM) held yesterday.

Datin Annie Lai was also selected as PRS Women chief during the meeting, while Audie Samuel Lawen was selected as PRS Youth chief.


Surai noted that several resolutions were presented during the AGM, such as requesting full support for Doris as the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate for the Sri Aman parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15).

He said there was also a request for the quota of counsellors and politically appointed posts to be given to PRS Simanggang branch members.

The branch also requested a new wing for youth aged 18 to 28. ― DayakDaily
