MIRI, Oct 19: Miri police are looking for several individuals to assist in the investigation of a 37-year-old man who was found murdered on Aug 26 this year.
City police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah today released five closed-circuit television (CCTV) images of the scene where a fighting allegedly occurred on Aug 25.
The victim was found dead in a house at Bandar Baru Permyjaya here the following day. He had internal bleeding as a result of head injuries, believed to be due to the fight.
“The fighting incident was recorded on CCTV on the premises. Several men have been identified, and we urge them to come to the police to assists us in the investigation of the case,” said Lim.
He also encouraged members of the public who have information about the case to come forward. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
