MIRI, Jan 16: The lifeless body of a man was discovered this morning near a commercial building in Piasau Utara.
The body of the 44-year-old local was found around 5.30am by members of the public who later alerted the police.
According to Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah, upon arrival at the scene, police found the man’s lifeless body on the ground, with his left arm broken.
Lim said that his injuries were consistent with a fall, taking into consideration the body was found behind the building.
It was believed that prior to death, the deceased had been climbing up to the third floor of the building.
It was allegedly that a section of the floor is being used to house swiflets.
At the scene, police also found a pouch belonging to the deceased, containing several apparatus suspected to be used in house break-ins. — DayakDaily
