KUCHING, Mar 28: A decomposing body was found inside the drainage system located behind Wisma Bapa Malaysia on Friday night.
The body was discovered by the public around 10.45pm when they went to investigate the smell of decay.
Police were contacted and upon reaching the site, they estimated that the deceased had been dead for more than two days.
There were no identification documents found on the body, which was found shirtless.
The body was later brought to Sarawak General Hospital for postmortem and the public is urged to contact Gita Police Station if someone they know has to them has been missing recently.—DayakDaily
