SIBU, April 20: The Sibu Divisional Disaster Management Committee (SDDMC) has postponed Day Two of the second phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

Day Two of the programme at Sibu Indoor Stadium was earlier scheduled for today.

Sibu Division Health Officer, Dr Teh Jo Hun said the postponement was due to a lack of supply of vaccines.

“The vaccination programme for April 20, has been postponed. A notice will be issued through the MySejahtera app. The postponement was made as the vaccination centre has yet to receive the vaccine,” he said in a statement today.

Dr Teh said those who had registered for the vaccine either through the health clinic, district office, community leader, or MySejahtera app, will have their appointment date set in Phase 2 and 3.
