Darul Hana Project earns Land Custody and Devt Authority recognition at regional sustainability awards

KUCHING, Nov 28: The Darul Hana Redevelopment Project has earned the Land Custody and Development Authority (LCDA) the Community Initiative Award at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards 2025 in Bali recently.

According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), LCDA chief operating officer (COO) Kusyairi Bostani received the award, accompanied by senior manager Saiful Bahari Amra Ramly and three officers—Nur Farahasheela Bohari, Kustino Satiman, and Kimberly Dickson.

This recognition underscores the Sarawak government’s and LCDA’s steadfast efforts in uplifting local communities through sustainable development, socio-economic empowerment, and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

It also marks LCDA’s third major recognition in community development efforts since 2023.

The prestigious regional event organised by the MORS Group brought together more than 800 entries from across Asia, competing in various award categories, including Community Initiatives.

The Darul Hana Redevelopment Project is a flagship initiative that champions inclusive participation and creates long-term positive impact aligned with the aspirations of Sarawak’s Post-COVID Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030. — DayakDaily
