KUCHING, Jan 4: Democratic Action Party Socialist Youth (DAPSY) Kuching will be conducting its annual general meeting (AGM) on Jan 20.
DAPSY secretary Fabian Tan in a press statement said the AGM will be held at DAP headquarters at Lot 97, 1st and 2nd floors, Lorong 5A, Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim here at 7.30pm.
Tan said official notice of the AGM has been issued to qualified party members to attend the meeting, adding that DAPSY Lanang chairperson who is also DAP Pelawan branch chief, Yek Ling has been invited as the chairperson and state representative during the AGM.
He called on all members to actively participate in the re-election by bringing along their identity cards and to speak on the resolution by attending the meeting.
Members that have yet to receive the notice of the AGM are urged to contact Tan at 011-26689472 or deputy secretary Alex Thien at 016-8709225.
He also urged all DAPSY members who will be attending the AGM to adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure that the meeting is conducted smoothly. — DayakDaily
