Cross-border transporters to Brunei required to produce evidence of negative RT-PCR test results

KUCHING, Oct 15: Cross-border transporters for the delivery of essential goods to and fro across Brunei-Sarawak borders are required to produce evidence of negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test results.

In the latest Enter Sarawak guidelines, a negative Covid-19 Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) result which is valid for 14 days is required .

Otherwise, cross-border transporters can undergo a Rapid Test Kit (RTK) Antigen at Brunei border if they need to cross the border.


They need to be fully vaccinated and get an approval to cross the border from Miri Resident or Limbang Resident’s office.

On documents submissions, they need to submit a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test result, digital certificate of completed two doses of vaccination , copy of identity card or passport, a letter from company on delivery and an approved police permit.

Those who are on transit will be exempted from quarantine while applicants who do not provide sufficient documents will be rejected. — DayakDaily
