MIRI, June 27: A crane was destroyed after it caught fire early this morning at Jalan Miri By-pass, near a supermarket here.
According to a report by Miri Fire and Rescue Department, the crane driver was uninjured in the incident.
A team of firefighters from Lopeng fire station were despatched to the scene upon receiving a distress call about the incident at 7.35am.

At the scene, they quickly extinguished the blaze using special foam.
