KUCHING, March 12: Sarawak recorded 15 suspected Covid-19 cases today.
The State Disaster Management Committee in a statement today revealed that ten person-under-investigation (PUI) cases for the Covid-19 were warded at the Sarawak General Hospital, three in Lawas and one each in Bintulu and Sibu Hospitals.
With the new cases, Sarawak has since Jan 10 this year, recorded a cumulative 262 cases.
However, 237 had tested negative for the deadly disease while 25 cases are still awaiting laboratory test results.
Of these pending cases, 17 are at SGH, four at Bintulu Hospital, three in Lawas Hospital and one in Sibu Hospital.
Meanwhile, as of March 12 until 11am, the State Health Department had screened 12,933 visitors to the state at various air, land and sea entry points. — DayakDaily
