KUCHING, June 20: Sibu recorded one Covid-19 death as Sarawak recorded 325 new Covid-19 cases during Epid (Epidemiological) Week 24.
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in a statement today, said of the new cases reported, 314 were under Categories 1 and 2, while 11 cases were under Categories 3, 4, and 5.
This has brought the total cumulative number of cases reported in the State to 307,317.
By district, Kuching remained at the top with the most number of new cases at 104, followed by Sibu (58), Miri (46), Bintulu (30), Serian (16), Samarahan (13), Limbang (11), Bau (8), Sarikei (5), Saratok (4), Betong (3), Meradong (3), Tebedu (3), Sri Aman (2), Kapit (2), Selangau (2), Lawas (2) while Mukah, Lubok Antu, Dalat, Kabong, Beluru, Telang Usan, Tatau, Song and Julau recorded one case each. — DayakDaily
