Covid-19: Sarawak logs 326 new cases, 3 deaths in Epid Week 27

KUCHING, July 11: Sarawak recorded 326 new Covid-19 cases during Epid (Epidemiological) Week 27.

According to a statement issued today by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), 318 cases were in Categories 1 and 2, while 8 cases were in Categories 3, 4, and 5.

This brings the cumulative number of cases reported in the State to 308,332.


By district, Kuching recorded the highest number of new cases at 137, followed by Miri (60), Sibu (43), Bintulu (21), Samarahan (14), Sarikei (8), Limbang and Kapit (5 each), Bau and Lubok Antu (4 each), Serian, Simunjan, and Meradong (3 each), Dalat, Kanowit, Sri Aman, Lundu, and Asajaya (2 each), and Tebedu, Tatau, Selangau, Marudi, Beluru, and Pakan (1 each).

In addition, there were 3 new Covid-19 deaths reported — two in Sibu and one in Miri. — DayakDaily
